Gonna make you sweat at Union Square Sweat Fest!

Feel the burn! Taste the sweat! Get the swag!

Union Square Sweat Fest is back and, now in its sixth year, better than ever.

Union Square is home to more than 100 top-flight health and wellness destinations, with creative concepts like salt rooms, team rowing and blacklight boxing pushing the boundaries and setting the trends. Sweat Fest is a once-a-year opportunity to sample from the best — a fitness flight to keep New Year’s resolutions going strong.

The event begins Thurs., Feb. 6, and runs through Tues., Feb. 11, and will feature six signature Sweat Fest Experiences, highlighting more than 25 local partners.

“Sweat Fest allows New Yorkers to get a taste of Union Square’s multifaceted and robust health and wellness scene and find out about the latest fitness classes and trends,” said Jennifer Falk, executive director of the Union Square Partnership. “From new studios and top instructors to only-in-Union-Square experiences, Sweat Fest is the celebration of Union Square as New York City’s fitness epicenter.”

Sweat Fest Signature Experiences are back this year featuring six curated, unique-to-Union-Square events that tie boutique fitness studios to the healthy food and wellness scene:

Rowgatta Launch Party, Thurs., Feb. 6, 7:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. 

Sweat Fest’s sixth installment will kick off with a high-intensity, low-impact bootcamp with the neighborhood’s newest rowing-inspired workout. Rowgatta coaches will help you alternate between endurance-building rowing drills and muscle-toning weight stations, all while you row along with your Sweat Fest crew and heart-pumping beats. Join the party after class with healthy eats and post-workout beauty treatments by local partners. Participants will receive event T-shirts, a signature Sweat Fest swag item, plus giveaways and raffles from local fitness, food and beauty partners.

SWERVE Ride, Fri. Feb. 7, 8:30 p.m. to 10 p.m.

Come for a winning spin in this 45-minute cycling ride with a team dynamic and heart-pumping beats. Bring a crew or meet new friends on your SWERVE team that keeps you motivated, supported and accountable. Compete to be the top rider to win a special giveaway and stay after class for healthy eats and a post-workout beauty treatment by local partners. Participants will receive event T-shirts, a signature Sweat Fest swag item, and giveaways from local fitness, food and beauty partners. Cycling shoes and towels will be provided.

Paragon Run Club, Sat., Feb. 8, 9 a.m.

Kick start your weekend with an only-in-Union-Square outdoor running experience. Join Paragon Sports and take part in a Saturday Run Club extravaganza. The group will complete a 4-mile run through parts of Union Square and all around Manhattan, starting and finishing at the iconic Paragon Sports store. Arrive early to gear up with a special Sweat Fest T-shirt and knit hat before the run, and cool down post-workout with a party at Paragon’s Department 1908. The post-run party will kick off the weekend with healthy snacks and a weekend-ready beauty treatment by local partners. Participants will also receive giveaways and raffle items from local fitness, food and beauty partners.

Complete Recharge, Sun., Feb. 9, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Burn, build and restore with Complete’s personal training circuit, and get a customized workout from six personal group trainers. Move through this dynamic health club’s cardio turf area, muscle-building weights stations and restoring stretch studio, and hang out with your Sweat Fest crew for a Sunday afternoon recharge. Stay after class for complimentary smoothies, healthy eats, massages and mini-facials from the Complete spa team, and a post-workout beauty treatment by local partners. Take private tours of the Complete Health Club, where you’ll get a taste of their full gym facilities, spa treatments and a chance to relax in their Himalayan Salt Room. Participants will receive event T-shirts, a signature Sweat Fest swag item, and giveaways from local fitness, food and beauty partners.

CorePower Candlelit Yoga, Mon., Feb. 10, 8:30 p.m. to 10 p.m.

Melt away your Monday stress with a relaxing candlelit yoga flow. CorePower’s signature heated class strengthens, balances and detoxifies your entire body and mind as you move through more challenging postures and connected breath. Set to an energizing playlist, you’ll power up your yoga practice and set the tone for the rest of your week. Arrive early to gear up with a signature Sweat Fest yoga mat and T-shirt before class, and cool down post-workout with healthy eats and beauty treatments by local partners. In addition to a free yoga mat and T-shirt, participants will also receive giveaways and raffle items from local fitness, food and beauty partners.

GRIT BXNG Closing Party, Tues., Feb. 11, 8:30 p.m. to 10 p.m.

Celebrate Sweat Fest at the GRIT BXNG Closing Event. Experience this brand new boutique boxing studio with a 50-minute full-body workout that builds strength and confidence with powerful boxing sequences. The bags. The treadmills. The floor. Three stations offer endless combinations. Workouts are always changing, dynamic and fun. Paired with a full-service liquor bar and space to hang, participants will leave the workout and enter into a closing party celebration, featuring complimentary drinks, healthy eats and wellness treatments from local partners. Participants will receive event T-shirts, GRIT beanies and sweat bags, and giveaways from local fitness, food and beauty partners.
