A bit like one of those 1950s photos of wacky teenagers packing into a phone booth, a crazy collection of cardboard figures filled the inside of Tompkins Square Park’s Temperance Fountain on Sunday.

It looked like it was more public artwork of East Village artist Tom Manco, who in December left a cool-looking cardboard man sitting on a bench not far from the Temperance Fountain.
