Return to Ground Zero: New York marks another 9/11 anniversary

Families, friends, supporters and politicians gathered at the World Trade Center on Monday to mark the 22nd anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attacks.

They read aloud the names of the 2,983 victims of the September 2001 attacks, plus the six victims of the earlier February 1993 bombing of the World Trade Center.

Six moments of silence marked the times when each of the World Trade Center towers was struck, when each tower fell, and the times corresponding to the attack at the Pentagon, and the downing of United Airlines Flight 93 in a field in Pennsylvania.
