BY EVERYNIGHT CHARLEY CRESPO | Updated Sat., Dec. 12, 4:45 p.m.: Lisa Marie is having another flea market at Peretz Square, the triangular sliver at First St. and First Ave., this weekend.
This one is called the Nexus Holiday Market & Flea, and will run on both Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
According to the organizer, the name is a spoof from a ‘Seinfeld’ episode.
The market has something for everyone, from vintage and never-worn jackets from the 1940s through ’80s, hand-painted Dolly Parton-on-wood ornaments, jewelry, necklaces, rock-and-roll art, vintage comics, “elegant cat-inspired designs” and “multichrome color-shifting eyeshadow.”
Lisa Marie said she also planned to book some music acts for the event.
She previously ran the Avenue B Flea. Her first flea market at First and First was last Sunday.
It initially sounded like there might be a few more flea markets at the new location during December. But now word is that this weekend, which is forecast for good weather, will be the last event for the season.
