Flashback: Spring St. Fourth of July ’18

If you were looking for fireworks on the Fourth, you could have tried Pier 35 on the Lower East Side, where locals lit up the sky with roman candles and skyrockets in a truly impressive aerial display.

Meanwhile, over in Soho, at Spring and Sullivan Sts., a group of residents — Italian and Portuguese longtimers — celebrated the Fourth a bit more leisurely, as they usually do, in their own style.
