Santa Claus visited the Engine 15 / Ladder 18 fire station on Pitt Street on the Lower East Side a.k.a. “Fort Pitt” on Sat., Dec. 17.
He didn’t come down the chimney, though, but was lowered in a fire truck’s bucket lift.
As he and a crew of fit-looking, muscular elves descended, they threw out candy for the kids below.
Snow was also flying, albeit of the paper kind, courtesy of a blower.
