BY THE VILLAGE SUN | July is the hottest month, but things are getting even hotter in the West Village as someone is apparently setting cars on fire.
One vehicle reportedly was torched Friday morning on Bethune Street just east of Washington Street, outside Malaparte restaurant.
According to a post on Nextdoor, there have been three cars set ablaze in the Village since July 10, and it always happens after 2 a.m.
