There was yet another water-main break in the East Village on Wednesday, flooding the area around First Ave. and E. Seventh St.
The Daily News said the break was reported at 8:27 p.m., and sent water gushing onto the sidewalks and streets. Water swamped local restaurant’s outdoor dining structures.
It was not immediately clear what caused the break.
Almost two weeks ago, on Mon., Dec. 21, a water-main break occurred around the same location.
That area of the East Village has seen more than its share of woes recently, with a disastrous fire gutting the historic Middle Collegiate Church on Sat., Dec. 5.
