Woman’s wallet, credit cards swiped at Mama’s Bar

A 28-year-old woman was inside Mama’s Bar, at 34 Avenue B, at E. Third St., on Thurs., Dec. 12, around 9 p.m., when she noticed her wallet was missing and contacted police.

According to police, on Sat., Dec. 14, around 6 p.m., a man entered the CVS at 253 First Ave., at E. 15th St., and purchased several items using the victim’s credit cards. The wallet and the charges he racked up had a total estimated value of $1,200.

The individual being sought is described as a male Hispanic, around 20 to 30 years old, last seen wearing all-dark clothing.

The surveillance photo above, provided by police, was taken from the location where the charges were made.
