Woman stabs man at Union Square after argument

BY THE VILLAGE SUN | In a seemingly random attack, police said a small woman stabbed a middle-aged man in the back near Union Square late one night last month.

According to cops, on Fri., Nov. 3, around 10:35 p.m., a 47-year-old man was walking at 14 Street and Broadway, when a woman approached him and started a verbal argument with him. The unidentified female followed the man and then stabbed him in the lower back with an unknown object, causing a laceration. After her attack, she fled on foot, heading southbound on Broadway.

The victim was taken to Bellevue Hospital in stable condition.

The suspect is described as roughly 5 feet 2 inches tall. She was last seen wearing a black coat, blue jeans, a black-and-purple Colorado Rockies baseball cap and black sneakers.
