Woman sexually abused on Greenwich Village street

Updated Tues., Oct. 13, 2:30 p.m.: A man pushed a 20-year-old woman down onto the street in Greenwich Village, then sexually abused her in the early morning of Sun., Oct. 11, police said.

It was around 2:36 a.m. when the creep approached the victim from behind at Barrow and Greenwich Sts. As he shoved her down onto the sidewalk he told her he had a gun.

The New York Post reported that he also said, “Take your clothes off” and “I just got out of jail,” and fondled her underneath her clothes, according to police.

The man then molested the women before fleeing eastbound on Barrow St.

The victim was removed to Beth Israel Hospital for evaluation.

Police released surveillance-camera video of the alleged suspect.
