Woman, 84, pushed to pavement outside LES Trader Joe’s

A thug knocked an elderly woman to the ground as she was wheeling a cart outside the Trader Joe’s supermarket on the Lower East Side, police said.

Cops said the incident occurred Tues., Dec. 11, at 5:20 p.m. at Grand and Clinton Streets, when the stranger shoved the 84-year-old victim to the sidewalk, injuring her face and neck.

The senior was taken to Bellevue Hospital for treatment in stable condition.

The suspect — who didn’t steal anything from the victim — had dark hair and wore a black face mask, dark snorkel jacket with fake-fur-fringed hood and dark pants.
