Village Seen

Updated March 1, 5:08 p.m.: A small sign looks official — but, upon closer inspection, has been doctored — at the Christopher St. subway station.

And it turns out that, no, the photo is not of goateed ex-Mets slugger Mike Piazza, either.

In fact, it’s yet another installation by the ubiquitous street artist Clint Mario, whose fitting motto is “I am everywhere.”

Basically, if there’s a sign out there, Mario’s M.O. is to superimpose himself into it somehow.

Moving right along from Mario…
