Police said six men broke into a high-end Soho outerwear boutique late last Thursday night and made off with a haul of $40,000 worth of coats.
On Jan. 23, around 11:12 p.m., one of the group used a large piece of rock or concrete to break the glass front door of the Mackage clothing store, at 123 Mercer St., police said. A total six men then ran into the location and swiped 52 coats.
Loaded down with armfuls of luxury outerwear, the boutique burglars piled into two cars, a gray BMW X5 and a black Lincoln Town Car, and sped off.
