A few hundred people gathered in Union Square on Sunday afternoon to peacefully protest against police brutality after the killing of George Floyd in Minnesota.

They then marched off toward Fifth Ave., then headed Downtown, passing through Washington Square Park.

Later in the evening, thousands of demonstrators were reported marching down Varick St., chanting, “Black Lives Matter!”
