The Living Installation lives again

What could be better than a wacky marathon performance? Why…a two-part wacky marathon performance, of course.

Michael Alan a.k.a. Alien X a.k.a. The Living Installation will put on an “Artist at Work Extravaganza” on Sat., April 24.

A former party promoter as a young club kid, Alan’s art is performance based, involving putting on layers upon layers of colorful coverings, paint and masks.

The exhibition/performance space is a three-room apartment and rooftop on Rivington St. on the Lower East Side.

From 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., there will be art exhibition with access to the roof. From 4 p.m. to 7 p.m., there will be a full-on rooftop performance as Alan and his art partner “go wild.”

The location is secret, to be revealed if you buy a ticket, $20 discounted, $40 suggested. There are also online viewing options.
