That’s how they roll; 6th Precinct, locals stamp out graffiti

Roger that.

Police from the Sixth Precinct’s community affairs unit took a break from laying down the law and instead joined local residents in laying down the paint to cover graffiti on Sat., April 10.

They hit several spots around the neighborhood.

The residents volunteered their efforts. The paint was donated. The event was organized by the Village precinct’s community affairs team.

Our block association donated some paint and we were so happy to see our NCO, Officer Maureen Carey on the block painting. We appreciate all their efforts on our behalf — keeping us safe and taking the extra time to show they care about the neighborhood.
