Sleazy rider groped woman in 8th Ave. station elevator

A sicko cyclist sexually assaulted a woman in a West Side subway elevator, police said.

According to cops, on Sun., June 7, a 21-year-old woman entered the platform elevator at the 14th St./Eighth Ave. station around 8:10 p.m. to ascend to the mezzanine level. A stranger, wheeling a road bike, entered the lift along with her.

Once inside, the man grabbed the victim’s breasts, police said.

They both exited the elevator, and the male fled toward the L-train platform. The victim was able to snap photos of him.

The woman was not injured and did not require medical attention at the scene.

The suspect had red hair, wore blue-and-black striped shorts, a black shirt and a gray baseball cap, and had a burgundy-colored bike with drop-down handlebars.
