Robber cleans out Soho Dry Cleaning

A robber knocked off Soho Dry Cleaning, at 529 Broome St. just east of Sixth Avenune, on Mon., Jan. 24, according to police.

Cops said a stranger entered the place at 4:25 p.m. and pushed a 33-year-old female employee away from the cash register. He then grabbed roughly $2,150 cash from the till.

The thief fled a block north into the Spring Street subway station.

The victim suffered minor injuries and did not require any medical attention at the scene.

The suspect is described as last seen wearing a dark-colored jacket, gray hooded sweatshirt and dark-colored pants.

    For a cleaners, the amount in the register was too much for business. Excess cash should be removed and hidden. Sorry this had to happen .
