Downtown photographer Milo Hess has been busy covering the #StandWithUkraine rallies in Times Square over the past two weeks as the conflict in Eastern Europe continues to rage on.
The blue and yellow has been proudly flying everywhere interspersed with caricatures of Putin — such as sporting a Hitler moustache. The Russian strongman is the architect of the current carnage, which has sparked international outrage and charges that war crimes are being committed.
The protesters have been all ages, including everyone from a model clutching bouquets of yellow and blue flowers to a couple in color-coordinated bear onesies.
