On Thurs., Oct. 24, around 2 a.m., a 32-year-old woman inside Planet Rose karaoke bar, at 219 Avenue C, discovered that her wallet, containing credit cards and identification, was missing.
Subsequent investigation determined that an unidentified female was captured on surveillance video making unauthorized purchases with one or more of the cards at multiple locations the next day.
The suspect was last seen wearing a black baseball cap, sunglasses, a dark-colored sports bra, a dark jacket tied around her waist, dark pants with white stripes down the sides and multicolored sneakers.
Police shared surveillance photos of the suspect allegedly making unauthorized purchases at Wines on 1st, at 224 First Ave., between 13th and 14th Sts.
