Pizzeria perps went for pop

Some thirsty burglars broke into an East Village pizza place, making off with a haul of soda and more earlier this month.

Police said that on Tues., June 2, around 10:30 p.m., two males broke through the glass front door of Village Square Pizza, at 147 Avenue A, at E. Ninth St.

Once inside, they swiped a bicycle, filled two bins with bottles of soda, and grabbed a tip jar before fleeing.
