Photos released of Q-train shooting suspect

Police have released surveillance images of the alleged suspect in Sunday morning’s random fatal shooting on the Q train.

The individual depicted is heavyset and wore light-colored jeans and white sneakers and a dark-colored, hooded sweatshirt.

The victim, Daniel Enriquez, 48, a Goldman Sachs employee from Park Slope, Brooklyn, was heading to brunch in Manhattan. The suspect, who reportedly had been “walking back and forth” in the subway car, pulled out a gun and shot Enriquez at close range in the chest. The two had no prior interaction. Enriquez was pronounced dead at Bellevue Hospital.

“We need all eyes on this,” tweeted Police Commissioner Keechant Sewell. “@NYPDDetectives need your help identifying & locating this man who is wanted for homicide in the tragic, senseless shooting of a man on a “Q” train that was approaching the Canal/Centre St. station on Sunday.”
