There’s nothing like a clean “Cube.”
On Monday, the day before Election Day, a worker from the Village Alliance business improvement district scrubbed graffiti off “The Alamo” sculpture a.k.a. “The Cube” at Astor Place and Lafayette Street.
Most of the scrawls were largely illegible to begin with.
Graffiti removal, along with supplemental sanitation, are among the services BIDs provide.
