Machete attack at Vladeck Houses

An attacker wasn’t fooling around when he slashed another man on the Lower East Side: He used a machete.

According to police, on Wed., March 30, around 11:16 p.m., the suspect approached a 20-year-old man at Water and Jackson Streets at the Vladeck Houses brandishing the big blade. He slashed the other guy on his left arm, causing a deep cut.

E.M.S. responded and transported the victim to a local hospital, where he received stiches and is in stable condition.
