Tempers boiled over after a car collision last month — winding up with one guy dousing another with a cup of scalding-hot liquid.
Police said that on Sat., Jan. 16, around 11:40 a.m., a 46-year-old man was walking in front of Champion Pizza, at 2 W. 14th St., when another man pushed him from behind onto the ground and flung the liquid on him.
Cops said the incident was sparked by a “dispute due to a vehicle being hit.”
The attacker fled south on Fifth Ave. toward 13th St. in a black 2017 Honda Accord.
The victim suffered burns to the arm and was transported to Lenox Health Greenwich Village in stable condition.
Police released photos of the suspect from the incident location.
