Police responded to a 911 call about gunfire at the Jacob Riis Houses on Thurs., Dec. 2, around 10:12 p.m.
A police spokesperson said the shots were reportedly fired in front of 178 Avenue D, at E. 12th Street.
Responding officers conducted a canvass of the area but didn’t turn up anything.
Meanwhile, a local source said there were five gunshots and that it was outside the Campos Plaza housing complex, a block to the east.
