Afternoon gunfire rattles Chelsea’s Fulton Houses

Police said multiple gunshots were fired in the rear of 411 W. 18th St., in the Robert Fulton Houses on the afternoon of Wed., June 1, shortly after 2 p.m.

According to cops, two unidentified males blasted bullets at another unknown person before fleeing on foot. There were no reported injuries.

The suspects are described as between ages 16 and 18, both with thin builds. One of them wore a hooded jacket with one white, horizontal stripe on each sleeve, blue sweatpants and white-and-black sneakers. The other wore a black hooded sweatshirt, a black vest, a surgical mask, ripped blue jeans and black sneakers.

The two individuals are being sought on charges of reckless endangerment.

Police provided a video showing the alleged suspects walking in front of 99 10th Ave. after the incident.
