Police quickly arrested a man after he had allegedly randomly slashed two people in the face Greenwich Village on Sunday night, police said.
The New York Post reported that, according to police sources, a 39-year-old woman was jogging at W. 13th St. and Sixth Ave. around 10 p.m. when she was pushed from behind.
When she turned around, the pusher slashed her across the right side of the face.
The attacker fled. The woman was taken to Bellevue Hospital with a deep facial cut.

The Post said that just 15 minutes later, the same suspect allegedly slashed a 59-year-old man on the face on Eighth Ave. near W. 13th St. The victim was also taken to Bellevue for treatment a facial cut, though not as severe as the jogger’s.
Police canvassed the area with a witness to the second attack, according to the tabloid, and nabbed the alleged knifeman, Khari Walker, 25, of East Harlem.
Walker was reportedly charged with criminal possession of a weapon and harassment.
