Burglar hits L.E.S. public-housing community center

A burglar busted into the Rutgers Houses Community Center earlier this month and made off with a haul of electronics, police said.

According to the cops, on Fri., April 3, at 9:35 p.m., the perp broke open a locked window to get into the Lower East Side community center, at 200 Madison St. Once inside, he grabbed roughly $5,600 in electronics before fleeing.

Police released a surveillance-camera photo and video of the suspect.
