In his latest illustration, East Village artist Mac McGill weighs in on the topical issue of children going back to school amid the ongoing pandemic.
As is apparent from his drawing, he’s not in favor of the idea. In fact, he said, he thinks it’s a “stupid experiment with children’s lives.”
People can’t even have a drink in a bar or go to the movies, he noted, adding there’s still no vaccine for coronavirus.
In short, it’s dangerous for students and teachers alike to hold in-person classes right now, in his view.
McGill said he empathizes with all the concerned parents out there right now.
