BY JEFFERSON SIEGEL | As New Yorkers ground their teeth over the uncertainty of the presidential election, several dozen people made their way, either by Zoom, Facebook or in person to Judson Memorial Church, on Washington Square South, for an hour of reflection on Wednesday afternoon.
Organized by the Lab/Shul, the “Circle Up” service called for “radical, resilient love.”
“No matter the election results, communities of faith and hope will gather for a soulful, multifaith moment to look back together, look inward together, and look forward together,” an announcement for the service said.
Chalked on the street on Thompson St. were several messages of hope, including, “Faith In Leadership” and “Love Trumps Hate.”
The service ended with the crowd joining together to sing several songs.
