2 for 2: The Village Sun publishes its second print issue

This is becoming a habit!

The Village Sun’s second monthly print issue has rolled off the press and is now being distributed around the community.

In our October issue you’ll find a look at the “pickleball panic” gripping Greenwich Village playgrounds, a report on the memorial for actor George Bartenieff, who was a co-founder of Theater for the New City, an interview on the state of the Manhattan congestion-toll plan, an update for impatient Panda Express heads on the chain’s slow-to-open new outlet on E. 14th Street, lots of arts coverage and more. … And only a couple of embarassing typos!

From front to back, The Village Sun has it covered in its October 2022 issue.

Next up: The Village Sun goes for a three-peat.

    Bravo! Well done.

You should also remind readers to see if their buildings will allow the placement of copies. We here at Cambridge are privileged to do so.

Finally a Community Newspaper again! Thank you.

    Congratulations, Lincoln!
Are you going to publish a list of locations where one can find copies?

Thanks, Steve! Yes, we’ve published the distribution points piecemeal, as we did them after the first issue. On the West Side, you can find it at the D’Ag on Greenwich St., Westbeth, the 6th Precinct, Village Apothecary, Morton Williams supermarket, LifeThyme, Jefferson Market Library, Mercer Street Books, Film Forum and Imperial Vintners on Hudson St., next to the White Horse.

On the East Side, you can find it in some of the street newsboxes around Stuyvesant Town, Theater for the New City, Two Boots Pizza on Ave. A, Key Food on Avenue A, the Earth Church on Ave. C, MoRUS, 11th St. Pizza Express at Ave. B. On the Lower East Side, we’re going to try to drop it at Ost coffee shop on Grand St., among other locations.

It takes a few days to distribute and get the papers out there.

      More locations to be added!
