Xbox burglar scores big haul from Village apartment

Police said a burglar made off with more than $7,000 worth of loot from an apartment at Bleecker and Thompson Streets around Thanksgiving.

Cops said that on Sat., Nov. 27, around 4 a.m., the suspect entered the apartment and swiped property belonging to a 28-year-old woman and a 24-year-old man.

The perp reportedly took a computer, an Xbox video game, headphones, jewelry, a driver’s license, a debit card and two credit cards, with a combined total value of about $7,351.

The next day, the burglar used one of the credit cards at two different stores on University Place. Police released surveillance photos of the alleged suspect making the purchases.
