Arizona police have reportedly arrested the suspect in the brutal murder of a woman in a Hudson Square hotel on Feb. 7.
According to the New York Post, Raad Almansoori, 26, was collared by police in Arizona on Sunday after he kidnapped a McDonald’s employee and carjacked another woman, stabbing them both, said Chief of Detectives Joseph Kenny of the New York Police Department.
The Post reported: “The N.Y.P.D. is now linking him to the death of 38-year-old Denisse Oleas-Arancibia, who was working as an escort on Feb. 7 when she and Almansoori ‘got into a dispute over how much time he could spend in the room,’ with the argument turning deadly, Kenny said.”
Police said Almansoori was seen on surveillance camera leaving the SOHO 54 Hotel, at 54 Watts St., wearing the women’s light-colored leggings, after having left his blood-spattered pants in her room. The victim was found on the floor under a blanket, with a bloody iron next to her. The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner determined Oleas-Arancibia’s death was a homicide.
Almansoori reportedly has previously been arrested in Florida, Arizona and Texas, including for kidnapping and sexual assault.
