Hey, dude, pick on someone your own size!
Police are seeking the public’s help in identifying a man who they say endangered the welfare of a child in Washington Square Park.
According to cops, on Fri., Feb. 26, just after 5 p.m., the suspect approached a 5-year-old boy as he was bicycling in the park. He proceeded to kick the kid’s bike, causing the him to fall off of it.
Then, as the boy and his mother were leaving the park, the attacker reportedly kicked the bicycle a second time, though the boy was not riding it then.
The suspect was last seen walking eastbound on Washington Square South from Thompson St.
The youngster was not injured.
Police provided surveillance-camera photos of the man, who was wearing a black, hooded jacket.
