Rocking for Ukraine: Gogol Bordello to headline benefit concert at City Winery

Tickets for a benefit show for Ukraine headlined by Gogol Bordello and featuring Jesse Malin and Patti Smith have quickly sold out.

The Thurs., March 10, show will be held at City Winery New York, at 25 11th Ave., at 15th Street, on Pier 57 in Hudson River Park. A livestream will be available at mandolin.com.

Eugene Hutz, the frontman for Gogol Bordello, a high-energy Gypsy-punk band, is a native of Ukraine.

Along with Gogol Bordello, Malin and Smith, the event will feature performances by Craig Finn and Franz Nicolay (The Hold Steady), Lady Lamb, Marc Roberge (O.A.R.), Matisyahu, Stephin Merritt (The Magnetic Fields), Suzanne Vega and more to be announced.

One hundred percent of of the net profit from both ticket sales and wine sales will benefit the Come Back Alive foundation.
