Ready to serve you with a smile (behind a mask) in Union Square

The Union Square Partnership is doing its part to keep the neighborhood safe by providing PPE, including face masks.

In collaboration with the city’s Department of Small Business Services, the business improvement district has distributed 20,000 free surgical masks to businesses and customers all around the BID area.

Additionally, Paragon Sports has made its cycling shop a mask pickup center Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

“With Union Square -14th St. reopening for business, the safety of our partners and visitors to the district is our number one priority,” said Jennifer Falk, executive director of Union Square Partnership. “By providing masks, we want New Yorkers to know that Union Square-14th St. takes the necessary safety precautions very seriously, and that we are doing all that we can to communicate that it is safe and welcoming to conduct your shopping needs with us.”
