Perfume perps hit Sephora for $950 haul in Union Square

BY THE VILLAGE SUN | Police said that on Thurs., March 7, shortly after 3 p.m., six individuals entered the Sephora store at 40 E. 14th St., grabbed merchandise and tried to leave without paying for it.

When employees at the Union Square shop tried to take back the goods, a physical struggle ensued and a 22-year-old male employee was punched in the face. The suspects fled on foot with around $950 worth of fragrances. The employee suffered minor injuries and was treated by E.M.S. at the scene.
