Man slashed in face inside Wicked Willy’s

BY THE VILLAGE SUN | An argument inside Wicked Willy’s bar early Friday morning left a man with a deep cut on the side of his face, police said.

According to cops, on June 24 around 2:35 a.m., the unknown attacker and the 42-year-old victim got into a verbal dispute inside the location, at 149 Bleecker St.

Things turned physical and the assailant slashed the victim on the right side of the face with a box cutter, causing a deep laceration. The suspect then fled on foot eastbound on Bleecker Street.

The victim was transported by E.M.S. to Bellevue Hospital in stable condition.

The suspect is described as around 30 to 40 years old, around 5 feet 8 inches tall and 160 pounds, last seen wearing a gray New Balance hooded sweatshirt, gray sweatpants and black New Balance sneakers.
