BY THE VILLAGE SUN | A man whacked a woman in the leg with a hockey stick in the East Village, police said.
According to cops, a 26-year-old woman was walking in front of 433 E. Sixth St., between First Avenue and Avenue A, on Tues., April 9, around 10:30 p.m. when a stranger suddenly approached her and randomly hit her with the stick.
The attacker was last seen fleeing the scene on foot eastbound on E. Sixth Street. The victim was treated by E.M.S.
The suspect is described as having a thin build and was last seen wearing a black jacket, a light-colored hooded sweatshirt, light-colored pants and multicolored sneakers and toting a hockey stick.
