A knife-wielding woman ripped off a load of stomach meds from a Lower East Side drug store on Sun., April 12, police said.
The suspect was in the Rite Aid at 408 Grand St. at 7:50 p.m., when she removed over-the-counter drugs from the shelf and stuffed them into her bag.
The store’s 31-year-old manager confronted the thief, but she brandished a blade before fleeing the store with $272 worth of stomach medications. There were no reported injuries.
Police provided a surveillance-camera image of the suspect and a video of her exiting the Rite Aid.
