Cops seek W. 14th St. stabber

Police are on the hunt for a suspect who stabbed a man multiple times in a W. 14th St. store following a dispute.

According to police, on Sun., March 8, around 12:30 a.m., the attacker was inside the Regal Deli, at 201 W. 14th St., at the northwest corner of W. 14th St. and Seventh Ave., next door to the Donut Pub, when he stabbed the 35-year-old victim numerous times in the torso and arms.

The assailant fled in an unknown direction. The victim was removed to Bellevue Hospital in critical but stable condition.

Police have identified the suspect as Goni Guzman, 30, who sports black hair and a tattoo on his inner right forearm. He was last seen wearing a black-and-gray jacket, a white shirt, gray pants and dark-colored sneakers.
