Cops claim closure on indecent-exposure groper

Police said they have collared a man who molested two women earlier this fall after approaching them with his genitals exposed.

Henry Williams, 55, of the Bronx, was arrested early on the morning of Sat., Dec. 12. He was charged with persistent sexual abuse, forcible touching, sex abuse and public lewdness.

Police said that, in the first incident, a 25-year-old woman was walking at St. Mark’s Place and Third Ave. on Thurs., Oct. 22, around 5:30 p.m., when the suspect approached her with his genitals exposed. He grabbed the victim’s crotch over her clothes, then fled southbound on Third Ave.

A few days later, a woman, 55, was walking at Sixth Ave. and W. 16th St. on Sun., Oct. 25, just before 5 p.m., when, according to police, she was approached by the same guy, again with his penis en plein air. The man grabbed the victim’s buttocks and fled on foot southbound down Sixth Ave.

Neither victim was injured.

Police released photos and video of the suspect hanging out by a sidewalk WiFi kiosk near the Chelsea incident location, before the incident.
