City Planning to give ‘Zoning 101’ presentation at C.B. 3

P.S. If City Planning is doing this Zoning 101 thing in all the community boards, then know that it is more than just to be nice and informative. This is a campaign to upzone neighborhoods across the city to allow for the creation of more housing but it is predicated on this growth model of always building MORE expensive housing to supposedly pay for the affordable housing but then the existing affordable housing in your neighborhood gets priced out and gentrified. So ask questions!!

City Planning is not doing this at all community boards. This was at CB 3’s request. I know of one other CB that had this presentation.

Awful timing. 9th Precinct’s Community Council is tonight 7 – 8pm. How do we attend both at once?

I have the same problem. The meeting is video recorded and will be posted on the CB 3 web site. Please let me know if you have problem locating.

If you are going to th 9th Pct. meeting, can you ask what they are doing to rein in package theft and robberies in the neighborhood? The woman who stole my son’s laptop was just released from jail according to the text they sent me, and now she’s been spotted on the block again!
