A burglar broke into a West Village residence and made off with a haul of handbags and jewelry worth an estimated $12,000, police said.
According to cops, the man forced his way in through the locked front door of the place, near W. 13th St. and Greenwich Ave., around 2:15 a.m. on Mon., March 9.
He fled on foot in an unknown direction.
Police released surveillance photos and video (below) of the individual taken from nearby and inside the burglary location.
