Bike-by punching in FiDi

Police said that on Mon., Aug. 31, at 9:40 a.m., a 56-year-old woman was walking northbound on Water St. near Wall St. in the Financial District, when a stranger on a CitiBike riding southbound on Water St., punched her in the face with a closed fist and kept riding.

The victim sustained swelling to the left side of her mouth and refused medical attention.

Police released a photo and video of the alleged suspect, which shows him riding on the sidewalk.
