Bank robber’s bluff in Village nets no dough

A robber pretended he had a gun but a brave Greenwich Village bank teller wasn’t fooled.

Police said that on Thurs., Jan. 20, around 3:15 p.m., a man approached a 21-year-old female teller inside the Wells Fargo bank branch at 374 Sixth Ave., south of Waverly Place. Simulating a gun, he passed her a note.

He left empty-handed, however, and fled on foot.
