Armed robbery inside St. Mark’s Place building

A 23-year-old man was mugged at gunpoint inside a residential building at Second Ave. and St. Mark’s Place earlier this month, police said.

According to police, the victim entered the building and was followed by five individuals up to the second floor, where they demanded his property. One of the individuals lifted his shirt to reveal a handgun in his waistband.

The victim complied and the robbers fled the building in an unknown direction with a wallet containing multiple bank and credit cards. There were no injuries reported.
