A guy in the East Village who rebuffed a group of muggers’ demand for money wound up paying a price, police said.
On Sun., July 19, around 11:10 in the morning, a 41-year-old man was in front of 254 E. Third St., at Avenue C. He was approached by three unidentified males who told him to fork over cash, according to cops. When he refused, he was knifed in the left thigh.
The victim was removed to an area hospital.
Police released surveillance video and a photo of the suspects.
